Well, in Japan anime (and ofcourse, reality), you will see there's some similar scene regarding rice and people.
A boy or girl eating rice, then there's one tiny grain of rice sticking on his/her cheek, what do you do?

Answer
You take that rice using your hand, and then eat it.
Do not using chopstick to pick up that rice because you might plucking his/her eye out.
And no, do not ask him/her to eat it, it will be uncool and definitely NOT romantic!
